As part of our mandate to provide public education on a wide range of consumer issues, we frequently provide information through the media. The purpose is to raise public awareness of key issues, so that clarity and sound judgment can be enhanced on a variety of topic areas. This includes small business, estate and tax planning, as well as real estate and retirement planning topical and relevant issues.

Over 1,000 interviews have been given on an ongoing basis – nationally, provincially and regionally. This includes all the major TV networks, such as CBC, Global and CTV, major radio networks and local stations, and most of the daily newspapers across Canada, as well as community newspapers, and general and specialty magazines.

In addition, national syndicated columns have been written, and regular columns or articles contributed to various national newspapers and magazines, as well as a variety of websites (eg. msn.ca) and CD Roms (eg, Microsoft and Quicken).
